Assignment 7

I have many goals in life but some of my immediate goals for the next five years in my life are to go to college, find a job, and leave my parents home. My plan in order for me to accomplish these goals is to first finish high school in Back Bay and then move onto to college, most likely Orange Coast College or Golden West College. After I enroll into one, I want to only take a few classes for my first quarter because I want to have some free time for once instead of going to school on a daily basis like I have been doing for my whole life. I really want a job after high school so I can start saving up enough money to eventually move out of my mom's house and become independent. I am willing to take almost any job because now a days there aren't many out there. Perhaps my mom will help pay for living arrangements but not fully fund it. Like my brother, I'm going to still live at home for a little while longer until I find a job or career that could fully support myself. Before any of that happens I would love to go on a vacation with some friends just for fun. I always wanted to travel out of state to see new places but I don't exactly know where yet, but anywhere would suffice.

Assignment five

Before I started attending Back Bay High School in the second trimester in 11th grade, I came from Costa Mesa High school. On my first day of Back Bay I was a little nervous because I almost didn't know anyone originally but I eventually started talking to them. At lunch I sat at some tables and noticed two other students that seemed to be new as well. We ended up becoming friends and hung out during lunch time from then on. It was a strange coincidence that we shared common interests like playing video games and discussing similar topics (mostly about weird news topics). That time is one of my favorite things from Back Bay high school.

Another one of my favorite things from Back Bay is the way they run their school. Unlike other high schools such as Costa Mesa and Estancia, this one has fewer students, no homework, smaller campus, and a great schedule system. I became accustomed to going to regular school the entire day and leaving at around three, I disliked going to Mesa because it was crowded and when I try to do my work during class there would always be a person who interrupts the class for attention. I ended up not caring about school eventually because of the people.

This school has helped me earn the credits I need to graduate from high school and that is the main reason I like this school. I will miss being able to play basketball at lunch and having a place where my friends and I can just hang out. But one thing I definitely won't miss is the people who are constantly talking out loud, trying to get the teachers attention for their own satisfaction. After years of dealing with those kinds of students in class, I will finally be done with it.

The teachers here in Back Bay have been so helpful in many ways like catching me up on my credits, Mr. Kovac really helped me by putting me in his computer class. Each day I would write about an article I had to read and for each assignment I completed I received one credit. When I had partial credits for certain classes, I also took home packets to finish and turn in the next week. I liked having new classes each semester because I had the chance to meet almost all the teachers on campus.

Assignment four

After a day at school, I will usually skate home on my skateboard which is a form of transportation and entertainment to me. I like riding it to places instead of getting a ride in a car because I like the feeling of the wind while riding and I save money instead of taking the bus too. My favorite brand of longboards are Sector 9. While skating home I prefer to listen to music because it drowns out the cars and other unwanted noises. Some genres of music I listen to are Dubstep, Hip-Hop, Metal, and various others types. Once I get home I like to first do my household chores to get them out of the way before playing a game to relax. A video game I have put a lot of time and effort in is called Battlefield 3 and its an army simulation game where you play as a soldier in either online combat or solo play. This game has outstanding graphics which make you feel as if your actually a part of the fight. Now a days video games are becoming more life like which have more of an appeal to me. The scenery in BF3 in simply amazing, I have never played a game like it before.

First one

My name is Sean Rodriguez and I enjoy simple things. I attend Back Bay High School until the end of the year, and I'm going to graduate within the year and move onto a community college that is close by. I have been living in Costa Mesa with my family for almost all my life, but I plan to move into a different county or state in the near future because I became bored of living with the same people (not my family).
I am interested in things that are not seen on a daily basis and enjoy playing video games too.
