My choice for donating to a charity would be for Water.org. They provide technical and financial support for third world countries such as South Asia, Africa, and Latin America by establishing wells closer to villages that are far from rivers. With the money donated, Water.org can build wells where it is safe and close by to the villagers. In most rural areas like Tigray and Amhara located in Ethiopia, people have to walk far distances to get water from a river which is usually contaminated by bacteria and other unsafe microorganisms, but now they have well sites where they have access to clean water all the time. This charity is important to me because I feel that everyone in the world deserves to drink clean water, not just certain countries. Water is the main component to life and no one can live without it.
