Assignment 16

According to the Institute for Economics and Peace, Maine is the most peaceful state in the United States at this time. They use data like crime rate, homicide, police employees, prison population, and firearms availability to determine how peaceful it is. I think this is a good way in finding out but it also depends on where exactly you live. Your neighbors might be a nice couple who are friendly to everyone they meet but you may also end up living next to an obnoxious person who stays up all night and might have wild people coming over constantly. Statistics can be wrong from time to time but I think I would like to live in Maine, even if its not the most peaceful state. If I ever had the choice to move to Maine, based on this information given I would definitely consider it but my preference is to live in a city like Costa Mesa because I like living in a place where there is always something going on instead of a rural place.
